The Utah Legislature and Gov. Gary Herbert hit a new low passing HB 477. I've not read one constituent post in favor of the bill. Yet, here we are. It appears that our Utah government has become a supremacy in and of itself, despite the desires of the citizens it was voted to represent. The will of the government now takes precedent over the will of the people.

Imagine a World Without Books
As an author, I've considered writing a book about a world without books. Would there be schools? Would there be cars, telephones, computers, or wars? Would there be romance and marriage? Would we have become a species similar to sheep? What would this world look like without books?

Is Jake Barkley Me?
People who have read my book, The Murder Gene say that the primary protagonist, Jake Barkley reminds them of me. Jake is the saddest man on the face of the planet, because his dear wife died from breast cancer. Folks, my wife has endured cancer three times including breast cancer. She is alive and amazing. Sandy is my hero.

Thank You
Recently I spoke to a woman who read my book, The Murder Gene. She told me it was one of the best books she ever read. She said she couldn't put the book down. She said she was sad that the book ended. Sometimes, thank you is not enough.
